I would modify to say blaming others for our woes serves little purpose. But there is a place for blame. I blame racists for the plight of people of color. I blame patriarchs for the struggles women experience. I blame giant corporations for the state of the planet. Put that way, it guides me instead of fostering self pity. Nice piece JJ.
