I wonder how this would read if we substituted the word "man" for women. Read it again, reading "ambitious men" instead of "ambitious women" -- see if you can see what I mean.

It's like those "girls rule" and "girl boss" tshirts. I'll buy them when I see boys wearing "boys rule" and men wearing "boy boss" shirts.

When we can stop talking about why "man" traits are okay for women and just realize that people are people regardless of sex or gender, we'll be making progress.

Until then, it's still just head patting and approval giving.
