I understand when people use this as a mantra to say no to things they don't really want to do. In that use case scenario, power to them.

But otherwise? It's a tired old saying that has little basis in truth for a lot of people. Tell that to a single mother working two jobs to make ends meet.

We live in a world where half of Americans live paycheck to paycheck. Many of those people aren't making time for what they want to. They are doing what they need to in order to exist in the lopsided unequal world we've created.
