I think the mistake people often make is believing they can figure out what they love by thinking or that it will come to them through intuition.

Passion comes from developing a skillset sufficient enough to reward us with satisfaction.

If we try enough different things, we might find one that gets under our skin enough to persist until we develop skill that becomes passion.

I promise you, Rembrandt did not love his first painting, but the act of painting is what got under his skin.

Many beloved writers wrote many bad stories before they wrote one that was good enough to give us goosebumps. What they craved was the act of writing.
