I think my meaning got reversed. I am not looking to have anything “both” ways because life doesn’t work that way. What I was saying is just the opposite. Some people wag their finger and say you can’t separate the art from the artist. Yet they did exactly that, albeit unknowingly, and perhaps we should judge each other less harshly.
