I think it would be real nice if Medium would let us know where they're trying to go. Because on the one hand, it's their company and they have no obligation to be transparent or informative if they don't want to be.

But on the other hand -- now that they're dumping their publications and not chasing big name writers -- we are the word posse. We are the ones creating the content that they want people to subscribe to read. Might be nice if they shared a direction with their content creators, no?
