I know exactly what you mean. In my daytime hours, I am a business person. Customer acquisition, data analysis, marketing, etc. But I’m an artist, too. Photography, art, writing. And I struggle allowing the two to overlap, afraid people will take me less seriously. What a ridiculous thought, and yet there it is. Because some people will. I suspect the key is not caring.

Perhaps most interesting is that some of the world’s most accomplished people do dabble in both worlds. Creativity, after all, is a byproduct of divergent thinking.
