I don’t think my reflection is confused at all. I agree with you — if we liked an article, makes sense to click the heart. If we don’t like it, don’t click. But that’s not what I see happening.

For example, in the screen-cap in the article, I showed there is a piece (not by me) that had 1600 views. 1100 read it all the way through. But only 21 people clicked the heart.

Does that even make sense? How could it be that 1100 people read all the way through — but only 21 clicked the heart? If it was not good quality, 1100 would not have read all the way through. So what’s up?
