I don't think anyone is pretending it didn't happen. I do think they look at it as if there was "almost" an uprising, almost a civil war, but the "not fascists" won and now it's done.

I also think painting the world as a place where white people dominate, while true in the many ways you point out, is also part of the problem.

Because there's a whole lot of poor white folk who have no jobs, can't pay their bills and want someone to make their life "great" again.

I kind of wish you'd write more about income inequality and why we have so much poverty in rich countries. Guess that's not what your readers want? Except me. lol. Good read, as always.
