I don't know who those good people are but I do know no one has ever stepped forward to pay my rent for me, or cover my groceries. I'm a single mom. There's no safety net. For me "do what you think is right" means make sure to pay the bills in a way that lets me still be able to look in the mirror. Good to see you back. Thought you'd left for Substack. :)
