I don’t agree at all. (Which is fine, of course) Posting reading times just tells me when to read a post. If I have 10 mins before a call, I’ll read a short one. If one is 13 or 20 minutes, I save the longer one for later.

Not posting reading times just encourages TL:DR syndrome. (ie; Click an article, see that it’s too long, and not read it.) If they know up front, they save the longer ones for when they have time. Long articles have no shortage of reads. Many of the top articles of last year were really long.
