I am touched that you knew her too. We were email friends. She’d write and talk about her father and her childhood, and tell me her dreams and nightmares. I still have her emails. I kept them. When she wrote to say goodbye it nearly undid me. I haven’t even written about her yet. Because I knew too much, you know? I don’t know if that makes sense. The things that were haunting her, she shared with me. She called me my dearest Linda and I haven’t been able to write about her yet. But it was nice to know that you knew her, too. xoxo
