I am in Canada. An ambulance is $400. But, you can apply to get it reimbursed, which it likely will be if it was an emergency. But - the healthcare, no one gets turned away for not being able to pay. America could have that, too. For some reason, most don't want it or they'd vote differently. Sadly, lots of Canadians want your system. Hope they don't win in my lifetime.
