Honestly, I’m a little terrified of what is still possible. Because I know Biden technically won the electoral votes. But I also know most states do not have any penalty if the electoral college doesn’t go with the popular vote.

Mike Pompeo is saying the transition will be just fine — to a second term of Trump. Is that actually possible? In a word — yes. All it would take would be sufficient support from the electoral college. I hope that doesn’t happen.

But you’re spot on right — the blood bath was inevitable. It’s going to be a rough couple of months until we see what the electoral college does.
