Hi Jan — I’ve added you, and welcome! I’d love to have those, but we need a couple of extra steps. The reason I only take drafts is that if you just add them, they’ll be pushed down chronologically and not look like new stories. But, there’s a way we can do it. 1) Click to write a new story. Give the article a different title than the first version. example: Instead of the Heroic Nurses of Bataan, you could call it something like “The American Nurses Who Were Taken Prisoner of War” 2) Then paste in the story and save the new version. 3) Then completely delete the original to follow Medium’s rule for not publishing duplicate content anywhere on the site. 4) Submit the new piece as a draft to History of Women. It’s a little extra work, but lets your story show up as a new piece at the top of the page instead of back-dated. Also gives you a shot at distribution on the fresh piece.
