Hi Dr Mehmet Yildiz. Managing a publication is a big job and hats off to all the people who do it.

Not only do publication owners and editors take on a lot of work, but with little concrete guidance. Medium's guidelines only say that writers and publications are both required to follow content guidelines.

How every publication will interpret content guidelines will vary, of course. Some publications accept or reject based on personal discretion, some do try to edit, some do not, etc.

It's all over the place, and of course it is. Anywhere that we see personal interpretation, we will see differences. Such is the nature of humans.

I think the best any publication can do is to be up front about what they do and do not accept so the writers know what to expect. And even still, some people will not read those, either. lol.

Hope you have a lovely long weekend. :)
