Hey Tony. I appreciate your reply. I understand that the worry might not seem well founded to you. But for me, I used to be able to pay my rent with what I earned here and now it barely covers utilities so it’s pretty well founded to me and others in the same position.

Like I said in my post, I have no sour grapes. I still enjoy this place. Medium is your sandbox not mine and you have to do what you think is best for Medium whether it’s good for me or anyone else.

But watching the downhill slide (on my part) still makes me sad. I miss the time I used to spend here. That was the entire point of the post. I’m not going anywhere, but I won’t make the mistake of putting all my eggs in one basket again. You know? That’s all.
