#1 — *sigh*. Medium stats kind of suck. I’ve had the same thing — there was a day I got over 2000 views all in one day. Blew my mind. And there was NO way to know where they came from. I wish we could click on a day in our stats and see where the traffic came from, but apparently Medium didn’t think of that when creating stats. They sure could stand to improve that!!

#2. I never see my own stories in the daily digest, either. I think you’re right and their algorithm filters out material belonging to the recipient.
