Here’s a funny thing we don’t teach in school. Patriarchy was never about the greater physical strength of men. Even in matriarchal cultures, everyone did what they were good at to support the tribe. There are women who were warriors, and men who were not. The real point of patriarchy and matriarchy is that every culture needs to decide how to trace bloodlines. Matriarchy says through the mother and patriarchy says through the father. I should write about that. :)
