Re the first paragraph, I hear you. Except. There's a difference between worth and financial worth. I don't think I've tied the worth of my writing to an inconsistent master so much as recognized that the financial worth isn't there. At least not here, not for me. As Ayo pointed out in a comment, he's earned $300K here. His writing has financial worth here. Mine does not. That's not the same as my worth. You know?
