First part is definitely true. Too many men who hurt women do not give sincere apologies. I'm not sure it's that they feel entitled to forgiveness. I suspect it's more that they don't think there is anything to forgive.

Much of it comes down to accountability. Those same men would not talk that way to their boss, or anyone they perceive as a "superior." Women seldom fall into that camp. Those types of men do not think they are accountable to women because they perceive themselves as above women in pecking order. Therefore forgiveness is a non-issue.

For all the "not all men" people in the comments, we know that. If this doesn't apply to you, you don't need to say not all men. It's about a specific kind of man. If that's not you, nothing to look at here. :)
