Did you read the article? Her family arrived 200 YEARS after it was settled by the settlers she claims to be. As for “few” being relative, there’s very few people in the USA, too— if you compare it to China.
Not to mention her comment about “Cherokee Nation.” That was rude. Too many damn white people who pretend they “settled” land when in fact what they did was take it by force from people who were already living there. It’s in the past, can’t change it, but we don’t need to lie about it.
