Crazy thing is, *society* does put all those pressures on women.

To men, it says “be a man, don’t cry, get a family, provide adequately, etc.”

To artists and creatives, it says “get a real job, be productive, get real, roll up your sleeves, etc.”

*Society* is an asshole. Because really, when we talk about “society,” we’re talking about a collective union of the most puritanical, judgmental voices. No one should listen to it.
