Copyright laws don’t agree with that, but I’m curious. To what end? Like, should writers like Stephen King and Margaret Atwood and writers here on Medium just hand over our work? For what, so the companies running AI can make a profit on our work without compensating us for it? It’s not like ChatGPT is doing anything for humanity. So I’m curious what would be the reasoning behind that.
