Yesterday I read a post by a data scientist who works in the field of climate change. He is pissed. To say the least.
He said there’s too much crap in the climate change topic.
Much of it by “top” writers here.
They are big on drama and short on factual accuracy because that’s the formula that pays well, he observed.
It fuels public misunderstanding, he says.
But hey, Coach Tony, you absolutely “gotta” kill meta posts. Ban them or demonetize them or something. Cause they’re a real problem. Right?
I get that meta posts are a problem. I read a post by some woman who said if reads are down, she writes a meta post. I am sick of those, too.
Banning them isn’t the solution.
There’s a word for that.
Censorship.
