Brings to mind Viktor Frankl's book, Man's Search For Meaning. In the book, he says we "judge" people by all the wrong criteria. Gender, race, color, religion, etc. Humans, he says, are divided into exactly two groups and almost evenly. Those who have the capacity for intentional cruelty and those who do not. Seems to fit the definition of predatory, I think.
