Being in a church doesn’t make anyone a good person any more than standing in my garage makes me an automobile.

I don’t know if there is a God. None of us do. Faith and fact are not remotely the same. I like to hope there is something bigger than us, because I cannot imagine we’re the best the universe has to offer. What a thought!

Even if there is, religious institutions were not created by any such entity, they were created by man. And they’re full of the same warped beliefs of the people who run them. There’s been more vile atrocities committed in the name of religion than almost any other reason. And it’s damn sad.

Happy Easter, James — you are good people. ❤
