Because eyeballs. Because it will outrage the people who know better and it will make the victim blamers in the crowd click in smug judgement. So it’s a win win, if eyeballs are the game and online, eyeballs are the game.

The irony is that most people can see a dog or cat walking down the street and not assume it’s just theirs to take, but a whole lot of people don’t seem to think the same of a woman.

You know why nudist colonies can exist? Because people can actually walk around naked and not think nudity is asking to be raped. It was never about the clothes, or even the lack of clothes. It’s about power and dominance and nothing else.
