"As we know it" is the key, isn't it? The way black people and other POC "know" America is vastly different than how racist white people know it.
One quarter of America put Trump in office. Half of America stayed home.
If all the people who stayed home go out to vote they could very well turn it around.
Smartest thing would be to paint the senate blue. Then it doesn't matter who wins. Biden can't change anything if the senate is as red as blood. American blood. Trump will have his hands bound if the senate is blue.
But the question is -- do all those people who stayed home care enough to go vote for change?
Depends what America "as they know it" looks like, I guess. 33 days and counting.
Good piece - thanks. :)
