Agreed. Last time I was at the Pride parade, before Covid, I looked around in wonder. Big companies had floats in the parade. Major banks and retailers. We all know they don't "really" care and it's performative, but it has affected public perception.

When people see the biggest banks flying a rainbow flag, they're less likely to spout homophobic stuff. Except catholic priests, of course. *sigh*
