Since I read that article, I started paying attention and noticed an odd thing. Medium will send me a notification that my post has 10 fans — but when I head over to stats, I only have 6 fans, or 7 fans. Which means 4 people or 3 people clapped on mobile and they didn’t stick.

From my estimation, it seems I’m losing about 30% of my claps to that glitch. Which sucks, of course — but maybe it will make people feel better to know that more people *did* like their work, but Medium erased them. Because, oops, glitch.
